Cruising past a mesmerizing karst landscape, our destination is the globally renowned James Bond Island. Enjoy the perfect vantage point to marvel at the iconic limestone formations, notably Ko Tapu, or the James Bond Rock. This site gained fame after featuring in the movie “The Man with the Golden Gun,” starring Roger Moore as the legendary British secret agent 007.
Following a brief stop, we’ll head to a canoe station, allowing you to relax while an experienced paddle guide navigates you through centuries-old stone formations, caves, and mangroves. Immerse yourself in nature’s beauty and serenity.
Continuing our exploration, we’ll visit a fishing village perched on pillars above the water. The sea nomads residing here will warmly welcome you to savor a delicious Thai lunch. Once satisfied, take a leisurely stroll through the village to soak in its unique culture and perhaps find some charming souvenirs for yourself, family, or friends.
Returning to the mainland by minivan, our day concludes with a visit to Phang Nga Park, where a temple and captivating caves await. Keep an eye out for wild monkeys, known to frequent the area—just be cautious, as they may be tempted to snatch a bite of a tourist’s food. This journey promises a beautiful blend of natural wonders, cultural immersion, and the thrill of James Bond Island’s cinematic legacy.
